Our company is looking for a Instructor to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage class and team: Site Coordinator and Volunteers;
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills;
  • Prepare class curriculum, syllabus and lesson plan;
  • Skills in Coding (i.e., Scratch, Python, et al.) or Robotics (Arduino);
  • Contractor shall be responsible for program development and training of new and developing programs such as Industry Funded Monitoring (IFM);
  • Contractor shall assist with development and updating of training curriculum and presentations;
  • Provide a positive customer service experience;
  • Curriculum management;
  • Advising and mentoring for students;
  • Academic and professional development through attendance and/or participation at national/regional conferences;
  • Rounds on patients in the Neurological ICU on a daily basis with faculty, fellows and residents;
  • Exhibit clear classroom management skills and an engaging demeanor;
  • Attend all curriculum training;
  • Promotes health of patients in the ICU through the use of ancillary services, educational materials, and counseling of patients and families;
  • Participates and attends all relevent M&M conferences and best practices committees.

Requirements:

  • Outstanding organizational skills and high attention to detail;
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to stick to a consistent/set schedule (We build 2 a year: June-Sept & Sept-June);
  • Experience working with children;
  • Fun, energetic, magnetic personality;
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Experience working as an instructor;
  • Lifeguard Certification (not required for all positions, but at least 1 person on the training team must poses this certification);
  • Ability to demonstrate & spot basic gymnastics skills;
  • NSC Defensive Driving Course;
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills;
  • First Aid CPR AED (Red Heart Association or equivalent);
  • Relevant certification or degree as outlined by state laws;
  • Experience working as an instructor, teacher / tutor;
  • Perfect for college students, retired school teachers or stay at home moms.
