Java Programmer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Java Programmer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Plans, develops, tests, and documents client/server applications programs;
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned;
- Writes and updates technical documentation such as users’ manuals, product specifications, and training materials;
- Generates new code and corrects, converts, and/or modifies existing code to meet specifications;
- Confers with end-users to analyze specified methods and procedures, identify problems, and document specific requirements;
- Performs a variety of testing procedures on assigned products, analyzes test results, and corrects problems;
- Prepares detailed specifications from which code will be written.
Requirements:
- Excellent analytical skills and strong verbal and written communication skills. (Required 3 Years);
- Java IDE – Eclipse 3.2; JavaScript Library – JQuery;
- WebLogic JEE container interfacing with relational databases (RDBMS) on Windows and/or, Linux platform. (Required 3 Years);
- Knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office Suite. (Required 2 Years);
- Asynchronous Scripting – AJAX;
- Experience working in modern full stack web based Java development using HTML, JavaScript, CSS and SQL (Required 5 Years);
- JBOSS; Oracle;
- Demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with team members to ensure success of projects and systems. (Required 3 Years);
- Demonstrate the ability to work on multiple projects, developing project scope, and estimates of effort. (Required 5 Years);
- Spring 3.0; Spring Web MVC;
- Programming exp in Oracle / PL SQL Version 12 or later (Required 5 Years);
- Apache JMeter; Spring Security.
