Math Teacher Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Math Teacher to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Takes on role of a reflective and continuous learner;
- Demonstrates professional and cooperative in interactions with parents while being receptive to their contributions;
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds;
- occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl;
- frequently required to stand; walk; sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel;
- frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds;
- regularly required to talk and hear;
- Leading one week-long Field Course (place-based, experiential education) each semester;
- Dormitory residence and supervision (roughly once a week),
- Coaching two seasons (coaching is broadly defined to be all afternoon activities, including things such as soccer, skiing, robotics, and theater);
- Serving as an advisor to 5-6 students,
- Weekend Activities (roughly once a month),
Requirements:
- Must adhere to Agency Values and Principles;
- Upholds the ethical standards of the Agency and 6B-1.001 Code of Ethics of the Education Profession in Florida;
- Follows policies and procedures of the Agency;
- Bachelor’s degree in related field in subject matter that is utilized for teaching experience;
- Criminal clearances (Act 33 and 34, specific State & child clearances and, if necessary, FBI);
- Valid driver’s license from employee’s state of residence;
- Non-communicable diseases physical exam;
- Valid registered vehicle insurance;
- Bachelor’s degree preferred;
- Citizenship, residency OR WORK VISA IN United States required;
- No experience required.
