Our company is looking for a Nursing Faculty to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that curriculum meets accreditation and institutional standards;
  • Writing or overseeing the writing of each new online RN to BSN nursing courses;
  • Collaborating with Assistant Dean of Nursing to hire qualified adjuncts;
  • Review applicant files and communicate admissions decisions in a timely manner;
  • Oversee advising process;
  • Represent the College at professional meetings and in the community, serving as an effective spokesperson for the program;
  • Collaborate with Assistant Dean of Nursing to develop, maintain, collect and analyze student learning assessment plan;
  • Participate in recruiting and develops positive recruiting partnerships;
  • Assist graduate enrollment with establishing/achieving student recruitment and retention goals;
  • Collaborate with Assistant Dean of Nursing to prepare faculty load assignments;
  • Collaborate with DON Clinical Liaison to assure student compliance with requirements for clinical placements;
  • Ensure appropriate clinical placements for students;
  • Collaborate with administrative assistant and clinical placement staff;
  • Oversee contractual agreements with clinical agencies;
  • Respond in a timely manner to all inquiries from perspective students.

Requirements:

  • Exemplary interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills;
  • The highest levels of integrity at all times;
  • Experience in a student-centric and hands-on learning environment;
  • Strong active-learning skills for effective instruction;
  • Orientation toward results;
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience working in a clinical setting;
  • Experientially prepared to teach assigned courses;
  • Strong academic and professional record;
  • Professional nurse licensure required;
  • Maintains certification as a Nurse Educator (CNE);
  • Holds an unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in the state of PA;
  • Excellent communication skills along with a high level of initiative and prudent judgment;
  • Maintain current regulatory and practice credentials, when appropriate, based on assignment;
  • Doctoral degree in Nursing (PhD or DNP);
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing.
