Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the health and safety of the children;
- Collectively write and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that follow our curriculum and meet PA learning standards;
- Conduct monthly observations of children in classroom;
- Collaborate with Co-Teacher in maintaining a clean, friendly, welcoming environment, that adheres to keystone stars standards;
- Effectively communicate with the children’s parents on a daily basis;
- Ensures necessary documentation around First Aid and Infant/Child CPR with AED training is met on a bi-annual basis;
- Meet yearly continuing education requirements;
- Attend all staff meetings and recommended required trainings.
Requirements:
- Flexibility within hours of operation;
- Able to lift 40lbs;
- Standing, sitting, squatting, bending, twisting, walking, and moving at a fast pace;
- Must have reliable transportation;
- Must be willing to travel to various facilities to fill assignments daily;
- All applicants must be able to pass a background check and be fingerprinted for childcare;
- Applicant must complete the Safe Sleep training;
- Applicant must complete the CPR and First Aid training;
- Applicant must complete 20 hours of ELCCT online courses.
