Our company is looking for a Substitute Teacher to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrating a passion for working with students;
  • Maintaining a positive, friendly, and respectful demeanor at all times;
  • Creating a safe and nurturing educational learning environment;
  • Possessing strong classroom management skills;
  • Mentoring and engaging students;
  • Carrying out the professional duties of a classroom teacher;
  • Carrying out necessary daily tasks and responsibilities in place of the Teacher whose absence is being substituted;
  • Maintain a neat and orderly classroom;
  • Report all student injuries, accidents, illnesses and discipline problems to the appropriate authority or as soon as is reasonably possible;
  • Manage the classroom and communicate to students the standards of conduct expected;
  • Take attendance in accordance with the school procedures;
  • Ensure adequate supervision to assure the health, welfare and safety of all students;
  • Carry out a program of study outlined in the lesson plans left bug the classroom teacher;
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned by the building administrator(s) in accordance with the school and district practices;
  • Comply with the rules and expectations of the district and school.

  • Substitute Permit;
  • Can-Do, enthusiastic attitude;
  • Must do all background checks that are required by our clients;
  • Highly trustworthy;
  • Highly responsive to daily communication via email, text and phone;
  • Reliable transportation;
  • Kid friendly experience. Working with youth in teaching, coaching, Sunday School, Boy Scouts, parenting, etc;
  • Positive customer service;
  • Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal alien status;
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent;
  • 3 years college completed, or;
  • Takes attendance in accordance with school procedures.
