Our company is looking for a Substitute Teacher to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrating a passion for working with students;
- Maintaining a positive, friendly, and respectful demeanor at all times;
- Creating a safe and nurturing educational learning environment;
- Possessing strong classroom management skills;
- Mentoring and engaging students;
- Carrying out the professional duties of a classroom teacher;
- Carrying out necessary daily tasks and responsibilities in place of the Teacher whose absence is being substituted;
- Maintain a neat and orderly classroom;
- Report all student injuries, accidents, illnesses and discipline problems to the appropriate authority or as soon as is reasonably possible;
- Manage the classroom and communicate to students the standards of conduct expected;
- Take attendance in accordance with the school procedures;
- Ensure adequate supervision to assure the health, welfare and safety of all students;
- Carry out a program of study outlined in the lesson plans left bug the classroom teacher;
- Perform all other related duties as assigned by the building administrator(s) in accordance with the school and district practices;
- Comply with the rules and expectations of the district and school.

- Substitute Permit;
- Can-Do, enthusiastic attitude;
- Must do all background checks that are required by our clients;
- Highly trustworthy;
- Highly responsive to daily communication via email, text and phone;
- Reliable transportation;
- Kid friendly experience. Working with youth in teaching, coaching, Sunday School, Boy Scouts, parenting, etc;
- Positive customer service;
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal alien status;
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent;
- 3 years college completed, or;
- Takes attendance in accordance with school procedures.
