Our company is looking for a 3rd Shift Warehouse Supervisor to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements;
  • Delivers supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items;
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications;
  • Accomplishes warehouse and organization mission by completing related results as needed;
  • Assists in reviewing and maintaining crewing levels and optimizing to meet or surpass NPF cost targets;
  • Conducts interviews, appraisal performances, on boarding, and disciplinary meetings including terminations;
  • Facilities department training programs;
  • Oversees the work activities and professional training and development of 20 to 30 direct reports;
  • Supervises department for compliance with established policies and objectives of the company and contributions in attaining objectives;
  • Reviews inventory records and recommends remedial actions for reported non-usable, slow-moving and excess stock;
  • Assists in developing and carrying out department’s goals, objectives, and systems;
  • Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested;
  • Maintains a high level of safety awareness for an accident-free work place;
  • Monitors employee’s adherence to company rules and policies and takes necessary corrective action if needed;
  • Support the efforts of the company to maintain our food safety system (SQF) and quality programs.

Requirements:

  • Must have 2+ years of warehouse experience in a leadership role;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications;
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus;
  • 5S and lean manufacturing principles highly desired;
  • Prioritize and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously with aggressive deadlines;
  • Sound technical skills, logical ability, and strong problem analysis and resolutions skills with a strong operational focus;
  • Minimum of one (1) year Supervisory experience;
  • Ability to establish trust and credibility with employees;
  • Previous experience in a food facility preferred;
  • Ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment;
  • Good interpersonal, as well as strong written and oral communications skills;
  • Computer proficiency to execute transactions and enter counts/corrections required Ability to use handheld data logging equipment required;
  • Ability to influence and promote change on all levels of the organization;
  • Ability to demonstrate discretion and business ethics;
  • Previous fork lift experience and experience with bar coding and automatic data collection would be helpful.
