Responsibilities:
- Educate athletes on safety rules and regulations to ensure compliance with NCAA and conference guidelines;
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned;
- Identify, monitor, and recruit quality student-athletes that will be an asset to the University’s athletic program;
- Manage various issues with student athletes in an effective and professional manner;
- Remain abreast of any changes in rules, techniques or equipment associated with the applicable sport;
- Instruct and demonstrate proper game techniques, strategies and use of equipment;
- Train, encourage and motivate student-athletes;
- Assist the Head Football Coach in planning and organizing practice sessions.
Requirements:
- Preferred Degree(s):Master’s degree;
- Bachelor’s degree required;
- Preferred Field of Expertise: Coaching experience at the collegiate level;
- Required Licensure(s): Valid, insurable driver’s license.
