Food Production Supervisor Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Food Production Supervisor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- quality control to achieve sustained and improved efficiencies;
- food safety procedures and policies;
- coordinating production activities with procurement,
- Maintenance;
- scheduling, reporting, and conducting regular visual line checks to insure proper dating, labeling, and packaging;
- collaborate with other teams;
- strong attention to detail while completing daily tasks;
- Overseeing the production function, with 10-20 direct reports;
- coaching and developing employees.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of implementing and managing Continuous Improvement projects is required;
- 3 years experience in a food and/or beverage production/manufacturing environment;
- least 3-5 years leading a production team within the food and/or beverage industry;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Production Supervisor role;
- Analyzing work orders to estimate employee hours, as well as creating equipment operating schedules;
- Leading team members to achieve production targets in a safe and efficient manner.
