Our company is looking for a Legal / Regulatory to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Select and manage outside attorneys as needed for certain legal matters and disputes;
  • Participating in compliance audits and investigations and conduct internal compliance training programs;
  • Responsible for daily review of segment taskings and coordinating actions with sector staff;
  • Prepare Hand Carry Letters;
  • EPDM requests for Export Compliance;
  • Other Global Trade related tasks as needed;
  • Provide guidance and oversight as required for employees engaged in international business travel;
  • Classify, vet, and approve Foreign National Visitor forms, and invitation letters for Visa requests;
  • Prepare and issue Riders & Conditions and export authorizations;
  • Organizes and coordinates export compliance and international agreements compliance training sessions;
  • Perform hardware bring-up and integration and lead power conversion systems hardware / software integration;
  • Interpret customer specification to define requirements for power electronics circuit and systems design;
  • Support marketing with proposals in area of conceptual designs, work break down structures, schedules and preliminary parts lists;
  • Senior Power / Electrical Engineer I will take directions from Project Engineer or Power Engineering Department Manager;
  • Support new programs from conceptual design, through detail design to completion.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor�s degree, law degree and actively licensed to practice law;
  • Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship;
  • Experienced in intellectual property licensing and protection;
  • Minimum five (5) years of directly transferable experience on U.S. Government contract matters. Ten (10) years legal experience preferred;
  • Must possess sound judgment, an ability to prioritize, and be capable of working successfully in a dynamic team environment;
  • Must be a member of the bar in at least one state or the District of Columbia;
  • In-depth knowledge of the FAR/DFARS as well as those requirements unique to contracting with the Government (e.g., CAS, TINA, SCA);
  • Magnetics design and closed control loop design experience, a plus;
  • Will prepare, negotiate and administer a large volume of contracts of various types for a variety of customers;
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance;
  • Proven effective communication with Senior Project Management and customer representatives is essential;
  • Will review RFPs, prepare proposals including engineering changes and perform associated negotiation and definitization activities;
  • Circuit analysis applications, PSPICE and MATLAB preferred.
