Our company is looking for a Line Producer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to Production Management department projects as assigned;
  • Strategize new and improved ways of doing business and champion change;
  • Draft and reviews budgets and schedules, track and project final budgets, and review all wrap materials;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key production vendors to create cost and workflow efficiencies that could benefit network productions;
  • Partner with SoulPancake leads and video producers to execute savvy content that is of the highest quality possible;
  • React quickly in a fast-paced production environment and demonstrate pragmatic problem-solving skills;
  • Hire and track payment for crew, safety, locations, equipment, etc. on a project basis for all internal and 3rd party executions;
  • Execute performance reviews and any HR related needs;
  • Implement all logistical, legal, technical and financial aspects of physical production for SoulPancake content;
  • Production partnership and confirming allocation of production funds;
  • Learn company policy & procedures and build productive working relationships with finance, legal, talent, technical, and support departments;
  • Helps ensure that productions are delivering in accordance with network standards;
  • Staff management;
  • Development of internal resources and beneficial relationships in the production marketplace;

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced customer service-oriented network environment;
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Prior experience working at a Network and/or with Network deliverables preferred;
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent;
  • Must be proficient with MS software applications and adapt quickly to learning new technology, software and systems for internal company use;
  • At least 8 years of production experience in the documentary, reality and/or scripted entertainment market focusing on character driven series;
  • A self-starter with the ability to prioritize among multiple concurrent projects;
  • Experience in overseeing and creating budgets and schedules;
  • College degree preferred or equivalent work experience;
  • Minimum 7 years of experience required with both field production experience AND network/broadcast and/or production company history;
  • Strong knowledge of leading digital platforms and emerging technology;
  • Skilled in Movie Magic budgeting required;
  • Over 200 hours of field experience in reality programming preferred;
  • Experience line producing for new media platforms required;
  • Willingness to travel and availability for some nights/weekend shoots/events.
