Our company is looking for a Manufacturing Production Supervisor to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with team to identify potential improvements to production line and can document and make recommendations;
  • Responsible for driving and achieving all plant safety goals and measures with ‘zero’ tolerance mentality;
  • Meet all plant wide OSHA requirements and report as needed;
  • Participate in selection process of new employees, recruiting, hiring, and on boarding;
  • Meet or exceed all standard labor cost projections;
  • Ensure the plant floor is maintained as neat and orderly, free of safety hazards aligned with 5s principles;
  • Accident review and prevention recommendations;
  • Problem solves as required and implement changes to maximize production yields and efficiencies;
  • Assists in all areas or production by learning each role within the department. Managing the Business;
  • Accept special projects as assigned by supervisor;
  • Perform spot quality checks, 5S audits, Layered Process Audits;
  • Ensure key constraints are managed and properly staffed;
  • Responsible for day-to- day compliance and adherence to FDA QSR requirements;
  • Responsible for recruitment, development, promotion and disciplinary actions of hourly Team Members on assigned shift;
  • Ensure team members are up to date and trained to perform assigned functions, including, but not limited to the areas of GMP, EHS and Quality Systems.

Requirements:

  • Prior leadership experience, including a career progression with added responsibility over a period 7 years or more;
  • No more than 45 minutes from Sealy, TX;
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, high volume environment, and have a strong attention to detail;
  • High school or GED, or additional 2-4 years of experience in lieu of education;
  • 1 or more years of supervisory or leadership experience required but 3+ years preferred; may include military leadership experience;
  • Up to 5%
  • Basic skills in MS Office;
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach;
  • Problem solving skills;
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • HS Diploma or GED;
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Background check;
