- Direct 5S activities;
- Perform other duties as assigned in order to ensure achievement of section, department, or company plan;
- Coordinate various daily activities and special projects;
- Report all shortages to affected manufacturing departments;
- Determine manpower arrangements.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and internal logistics procedures;
- Effective interpersonal skills;
- Strong organization skills;
- Related work experience in shipping/receiving/logistics is preferred;
- Math skills necessary to calculate inventories and kanban needs and to convert steel sizes;
- Ability to effectively communicate and present ideas (written and verbal) to all levels;
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
