Restaurant Supervisor Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Leading by example and ensuring the restaurant is properly set before guests arrive;
- Meeting daily sales and cost goals;
- Working closely with team members and culinary staff to ensure proper presentation and set food quantities are met;
- Ability to lift up to 20lbs;
- And most importantly, be a TEAM PLAYER with a positive, friendly attitude;
- Ability to walk and stand for up to 12 hours;
- Assist in monitoring inventory and inventory control;
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards;
- Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving guest complaints;
- Manage and monitor product quality and service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly;
- Project future needs for goods, kitchen supplies, and cleaning products; order accordingly;
- Maintain quality control for all food served;
- Promote a positive working environment and lead by example;
- Ensure quality of hospitality, service, and product;
- Responsible for daily financial controls.
Requirements:
- You must be able to pass a thorough background check as well as be drug free;
- Must currently hold or be able to obtain a NJ Casino Employee Registration license through the NJ Division of Gaming Enforcement;
- Has ability to lead and develop a cohesive outlet team;
- Two (2) to four (4) years of food & beverage operations experience or a combination of education and/or work experience;
- Has strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Attention to detail very important;
- Previous hotel experience a plus, but not required;
- Availability to work weekends and holidays, in addition to weekdays is a must;
- A friendly disposition and the ability to work as a team with others;
- Strong computer skills to include MS word, excel, and Pos Systems;
- Must be able to demonstrate and deliver a high level of service to our guests;
- Must be able to analyze Food and Beverage data;
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
