Our company is looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading by example and ensuring the restaurant is properly set before guests arrive;
  • Meeting daily sales and cost goals;
  • Working closely with team members and culinary staff to ensure proper presentation and set food quantities are met;
  • Ability to lift up to 20lbs;
  • And most importantly, be a TEAM PLAYER with a positive, friendly attitude;
  • Ability to walk and stand for up to 12 hours;
  • Assist in monitoring inventory and inventory control;
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards;
  • Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving guest complaints;
  • Manage and monitor product quality and service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly;
  • Project future needs for goods, kitchen supplies, and cleaning products; order accordingly;
  • Maintain quality control for all food served;
  • Promote a positive working environment and lead by example;
  • Ensure quality of hospitality, service, and product;
  • Responsible for daily financial controls.

Requirements:

  • You must be able to pass a thorough background check as well as be drug free;
  • Must currently hold or be able to obtain a NJ Casino Employee Registration license through the NJ Division of Gaming Enforcement;
  • Has ability to lead and develop a cohesive outlet team;
  • Two (2) to four (4) years of food & beverage operations experience or a combination of education and/or work experience;
  • Has strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Attention to detail very important;
  • Previous hotel experience a plus, but not required;
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays, in addition to weekdays is a must;
  • A friendly disposition and the ability to work as a team with others;
  • Strong computer skills to include MS word, excel, and Pos Systems;
  • Must be able to demonstrate and deliver a high level of service to our guests;
  • Must be able to analyze Food and Beverage data;
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
