The Video Producer guides the development of standards to ensure production elements and assets reflect the brand or theme concept. Coordinates various aspects of production including script writing, editing, audio, camera work, and music. Being a Video Producer oversees the work of production, creative, and support staff. Utilizes production techniques such as graphics, viewer pictures, or webcam interviews. In addition, Video Producer may build show rundowns, write copy, select & pre-edit video. Requires a bachelor’s degree. Typically reports to department head. Being a Video Producer gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Working as a Video Producer typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience.

Our company is looking for a Video Producer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce motion graphics as an added element to live footage, or standalone as needed;
  • Support live event recordings and internal meetings as needed;
  • Offer creative execution ideas as needed to support evolving marketing needs;
  • Shoot and edit studio and location footage into various types of videos to support defined project initiatives;
  • Work within our project management platform (Workfront) to execute on project requests quickly and efficiently;
  • Translate storyboard direction to final production with minimal supervision;
  • Uphold Grey Dog’s commitment to providing excellent service and quality work;
  • Work with project stakeholders to define project requirements, ability to multitask and produce final product within budget and time parameters;
  • Manage video archive and file transfer platforms, ensuring efficient and regular use;
  • Drive the end-to-end video production process as defined by Video Studio Manager;
  • Work with creative team to support the creative direction of video and animation;
  • Capture interviews and subject matter expert product demos ensuring that subjects are portrayed in a positive, professional manner;
  • Act in ways that reflect favorably on Grey Dog.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency with a wide range of cameras, lenses, lighting and related equipment;
  • Experience working in a fast-paced corporate or agency video environment;
  • Extremely organized, detail-oriented self-starter that can juggle multiple projects;
  • Desire to work in a corporate environment and passionate about our brand and is eager to protect and grow it;
  • Solid project management and communications skills;
  • Proficiency in content marketing and thought leadership, especially LinkedIn;
  • 3+ years of video producing experience with a strong video portfolio;
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in video production role or similar position;
  • Experience filming food and models preferred;
  • Advanced user of Adobe Creative Cloud tools, including Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, etc;
  • Valid driver’s license required;
  • Maintains a positive attitude, even while working under pressure in an environment where job demands are constantly changing;
  • Professional reel demonstrating proficiency in skill and a sophisticated sense of style, design and cinema;
  • Corporate, in-house experience a huge plus;
  • Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
