Youth Pastor Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Youth Pastor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Strategically promoting Youth Night within the campus using mediums such as Weekend Services and Community Nights;
- Organize all Youth Leadership opportunities;
- Intentionally build relationships with affiliated churches through the ARC and GROW Network;
- Develop message content based on the topic of choice to share at Youth Nights;
- Actively following up with every student that fills out a connection card from a student services;
- Liaison for all Dream Team systems and structure implemented by Hope City;
- Liaison for all Growth Track systems and structure implemented by Hope City;
- Build teams that involve students and empower them as leaders;
- Actively participating in social media on a regular basis for students and parents to stay connected to student services;
- Liaison for all Connect Group systems and structure implemented by Hope City;
- Organize and oversee Youth Conferences/Retreats;
- Connect with schools within the community in order to enable students to participate in student services.
Requirements:
- Demonstration of effective pastor leadership;
- Must be energetic and able to stand or sit for lengths of time as needed;
- Bachelor’s degree preferred;
- Systematic team building and leadership development;
- Proficient in Microsoft suite. Must be willing to learn new programs as needed;
- Minimum 3+ years of hands on youth ministry experience;
- Leadership and administrative experience;
- Ability to communicate vision;
- Consistent involvement with the pastoral needs of students;
- Ministry certification preferred.
