Loader Operator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Loader Operator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Operate other heavy equipment and other construction related duties as required;
- Operate the Loader and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner;
- Train new employees in the safe and efficient operation of the Loader;
- Operate Loader on public or private roadways, maintaining proper awareness of ones surroundings;
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment;
- Ensure a sound understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance;
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the Loader;
- Understand and follow directions from supervisors as to required work area;
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license;
- Quarry Work: 1 year;
- High school or equivalent;
- Must be able to pass Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Random Screens;
- Equipment Operator: 2 years;
- Operating heavy equipment;
- Communication Skills;
- Time Management;
- Confident;
- Interpersonal skills.
