Warehouse Selector Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Warehouse Selector to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with supervision regarding safety, equipment, damaged goods, and any problems or issues that may arise;
- Repetitively pick perishable in refrigerated or frozen rooms;
- Assemble customer orders;
- Shrink-wrap and stage completed pallets of selected products in proper shipping lanes for loading;
- Read work orders or receive instructions to determine work assignments/ materials/ equipment needs;
- Repetitively stack boxes and pallets;
- Move the materials in the warehouse;
- Meet and maintain established productivity standards;
- Accurately select product by matching slot numbers and product descriptions using a voice-activated warehouse management system;
- Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system and voice-activated computers.
Requirements:
- Work independently and as part of a team;
- Pre-employment drug screen is a condition of employment;
- Follow directions;
- Attention to detail;
- Heavy lifting experience (60lbs repetitive);
- Flexiable to work overtime;
- Your ability to work in hot conditions is required while you’re here;
- Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required — holidays are very important to our restaurant customers;
- You must be 18 years of age or older (required);
- Successfully passing a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check;
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
