Our company is looking for a Banquet Bartender to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment that is in compliance with the District health codes at all times;
  • Prepares all products according to established venue recipes, focusing on proper portion size control;
  • Communicates and works with all support staff to ensure inventory is maintained at established par levels;
  • Perform all other duties as requested;
  • Must be at least 21 years of age;
  • Constantly provides customers with accurate information about the venue and property as well as entertainment offered in each;
  • Work with a sense of urgency to anticipate customer needs and assist other team members when the opportunity arises;
  • Must pass the Bartenders Qualification Assessment Test;
  • Comply with all state and federal liquor laws;
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain responsible alcohol service certification;
  • Familiarity and product knowledge of beverages, wines, and garnishes;
  • Exhibits and executes a complete knowledge of the venue’s sequence of service and selling technique;
  • Communicates and works with all support staff to ensure bar is properly stocked and prepared for operations;
  • Prepares garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks;
  • Requests additional supplies as necessary and stocks the bar.

Requirements:

  • Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time;
  • Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight;
  • Vision with or without the help of eye wear;
  • Self-motivated team player;
  • Refined verbal communication skills;
  • Have a working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes;
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment;
  • Outgoing personality, positive attitude and strong communication skills;
  • Must be of the age 18 or older, and hold a current bartenders license;
  • Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds;
  • Sense of hearing or lip reading required due to the amount of customer interaction;
  • Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a cash register.
