Our company is looking for a Breakfast Attendant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Break down the buffet, ensuring all parts are clean, polished and stored;
  • Prepare breakfast buffet and maintain food levels to ensure guest satisfaction;
  • Set up the buffet table and ensure fresh items are presented throughout the shift;
  • Perform all shift checklist responsibilities;
  • Record temperatures of hot and cold items as required by Brand Standards;
  • Responsible for setting up and replenishing all food items;
  • Remain highly visible and be readily available for guests at all times;
  • Perform quality assurance (QA) requirements for department;
  • Operates cooking equipment;
  • Performs other duties as required;
  • Display the bar according to established standards including, but not limited to, retrieving ice, cutting condiments, setting bottles, etc;
  • Maintaining the safety and appearance of the buffet area and cleaning the area in preparation for the next day;
  • Restock, clean and prepare the kitchen;
  • Organize and display breakfast and move chairs and tables as needed;
  • Retrieve and store chinaware, silverware and tableware.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a background check and rug screening;
  • Previous hotel experience a plus, but not required;
  • A friendly disposition and the ability to work as a team with others;
  • Attention to detail very important;
  • Be familiar with the menu and ready to answer questions by guests;
  • Customer service or previous restaurant experience preferred;
  • Able to bend, climb stairs and lift/transport 25 pounds;
  • Food handling certification;
  • Set up, replenish, and clean up the Breakfast room/ and surrounding areas;
  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity;
  • High school diploma or GED preferred;
  • Ability to deliver first class customer service that exceeds expectations;
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate;
  • Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations with or without reasonable accommodation;
  • A high school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate.
