Breakfast Cook Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Breakfast Cook to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen;
- Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards;
- Stock and maintain designated food station(s);
- Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items, as needed;
- Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner;
- Basic cooking functions such as kneading dough, and preparing sauces;
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff;
- Follow recipes and prepare simple dishes;
- Sanitize and prepare equipment and workstation for cooking;
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies;
- Organizing Kitchen, Cleaning and detailing on a daily basis;
- Cooking menu items in a timely manner and working as a team;
- Clean up station and set up the next shift;
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safty standards;
- Chop vegetables, prepare sauces and other food preparation.
Requirements:
- Breakfast experience;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal;
- Experience as a Breakfast Cook a plus;
- Ability to communicate and listen to team members;
- Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needs;
- 3 plus years experience in high volume fast paced kitchens.
