Responsibilities:
- Reset tables filling napkins and condiments when needed;
- Displaying a positive attitude and helping team members and managers when necessary;
- Clearing finished plates, cups, silverware etc;
- Cleaning up guest spills as needed;
- Constantly provides customers with accurate information about the venue and property as well as entertainment offered in each;
- Stocking wait staff serving stations with napkins, utensils, trays, condiments, and salt and pepper containers;
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment that is in compliance with the Health Department codes at all times;
- Additional duties may include assisting kitchen staff with preparing ingredients and cleaning kitchen surfaces;
- Get drink orders and refill as necessary;
- Be happy and constantly smiling;
- Dry and prepare silverware setups;
- Be able to move, lift and change kegs;
- Ability to carry 30-50 lbs;
- Demonstrate competency in steps of service;
- Clean up, and break down of the Kitchen and bus station.
Requirements:
- Ability to communicate and listen to team members and guests;
- Maintaining a well-groomed appearance (“having a plan”);
- Practicing all general safety & sanitation standards;
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays;
- Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours;
- Prior experience in guest relations;
- Associate is often required to sit and use his or her hands and fingers, to handle or feel;
- Must be 18 due to the handling of beer and wine;
- One year experience preferred in a related position working in a high-volume, fine dining restaurant or hotel;
- Ability to work in stressful situations;
- Preference to those with cars. You may have to do some deliveries/errands;
- Continuous use of hands and arms;
- Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment;
- Continuous bending, reaching and twisting;
- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for periods up to 8 hours in length.
