Our company is looking for a Busser to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Reset tables filling napkins and condiments when needed;
  • Displaying a positive attitude and helping team members and managers when necessary;
  • Clearing finished plates, cups, silverware etc;
  • Cleaning up guest spills as needed;
  • Constantly provides customers with accurate information about the venue and property as well as entertainment offered in each;
  • Stocking wait staff serving stations with napkins, utensils, trays, condiments, and salt and pepper containers;
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment that is in compliance with the Health Department codes at all times;
  • Additional duties may include assisting kitchen staff with preparing ingredients and cleaning kitchen surfaces;
  • Get drink orders and refill as necessary;
  • Be happy and constantly smiling;
  • Dry and prepare silverware setups;
  • Be able to move, lift and change kegs;
  • Ability to carry 30-50 lbs;
  • Demonstrate competency in steps of service;
  • Clean up, and break down of the Kitchen and bus station.

Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate and listen to team members and guests;
  • Maintaining a well-groomed appearance (“having a plan”);
  • Practicing all general safety & sanitation standards;
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays;
  • Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours;
  • Prior experience in guest relations;
  • Associate is often required to sit and use his or her hands and fingers, to handle or feel;
  • Must be 18 due to the handling of beer and wine;
  • One year experience preferred in a related position working in a high-volume, fine dining restaurant or hotel;
  • Ability to work in stressful situations;
  • Preference to those with cars. You may have to do some deliveries/errands;
  • Continuous use of hands and arms;
  • Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Continuous bending, reaching and twisting;
  • Ability to exert well-paced mobility for periods up to 8 hours in length.
