Our company is looking for a Catering Server to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Stand, serve or work in a mobile food truck environment;
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 40 pounds without assistance;
  • Stand for prolonged periods using hot stove/oven, cooking utensils including sharp knives and industrial kitchen equipment;
  • Occasionally required to life heavy weights (50 pounds or greater);
  • Talk or hear during face-to-face communications in a noisy commercial kitchen work area;
  • Utilize specific vision abilities for viewing work related processes and materials handling;
  • Some exposure to smoke, steam, high temperatures and humidity;
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Requirements:

  • Clean-up banquet space after the completion of the function and ensure that all equipment and supplies are stored and re-stocked properly;
  • Prepare room according to BEO and the various meal functions;
  • Served guests according to company standards in a friendly, courteous and professional manner;
  • Know the menu items for each function served and able to give accurate descriptions;
  • Perform preparatory tasks and side work duties to ensure that guests are served promptly and efficiently;
  • Must be knowledgeable regarding the menu and explain it courteously;
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction;
  • Respond to guest problems, complaints and accidents. Communicate to management if necessary;
  • Employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees.
