Responsibilities:
- Implements & coordinates the culinary function;
- Customer & Client satisfaction;
- Directs & trains cooks & utility workers;
- Ensures food preparation & production meets operational standards;
- Manages catering & retail areas;
- Manages food & physical safety programs;
- Financial management to include food cost & labor management.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience is preferred in a culinary leadership role, within a campus setting a plus;
- High expectations for customer service and quality of food;
- Passion for food and innovation;
- Strong Leadership ability;
- Ability and willingness to develop and train hourly employees;
- Strong food safety and sanitation and HACCP standards;
- Strong understanding of financials as they apply to cost controls of food and labor;
- Ability to think out of the box;
- High volume experience;
- Strong computer skills.
