Our company is looking for a Experienced Line Cook to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients to use in cooking;
  • Check food while cooking;
  • Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages;
  • Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen;
  • Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served;
  • Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations;
  • Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests’ needs and support the operation of the restaurant;
  • Responsible for the quality of products served;
  • Bake, roast, broil, and steam meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods;
  • Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes, using various kitchen utensils and equipment;
  • Substitute for or assist other cooks or expediters during emergencies or rush periods;
  • Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to support a smooth service period;
  • Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvement;
  • Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed;
  • Season and cook food according to recipes.

Requirements:

  • ServSafe or Wisconsin Food Manager Certification;
  • Able to communicate effectively with managers and team members.
