Our company is looking for a Fry Cook to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with other team members to complete orders timely and accurately;
  • Ensure prompt and accurate processing of food in your station;
  • Maintain health and safety standards to regulations;
  • Regular maintenance and cleaning of equipment and utensils used;
  • Following proper safety, sanitation, and teamwork procedures;
  • Cooking all fried foods as ordered and according to standards;
  • Using correct portion sizes, cooking times, and holding times;
  • Keeping the fryer area clean and organized;
  • Stock inventory;
  • Chop vegetables, prepare sauces and other food preparation;
  • Clean up station and take care of leftover food;
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies;
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.

Requirements:

  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively;
  • Food handling certifications that apply;
  • Some knowledge of equipment used;
  • Previous experience in a cook position a plus;
  • Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needs;
  • Previous experience in a cook position a plus but not required;
  • Previous experience in a cook position a must;
  • Able to meet all scheduling commitments;
  • Cooking experience or Back of the House experience preferred;
  • Strong attention to detail.
