Our company is looking for a Kitchen Help to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies;
  • Clean up station and take care of leftover food;
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff;
  • Weigh and measure ingredients;
  • Label stock and inventory all ingredients;
  • Prepare ingredients for use during shift;
  • Mix, wash, peel, chop, grind, strain, slice meat and vegetables;
  • Chop vegetables, cut meat, prepare sauces and other food preparation;
  • Follow recipes and prepare simple dishes;
  • Set up workstations;
  • Basic cooking functions;
  • Cook dishes to business standards;
  • Sanitize and prepare equipment and workstation for cooking;
  • Follow health and safety guidelines;
  • Prepare sauces and other food preparation.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication;
  • Monitoring;
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Active listening;
  • Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needs;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Able to meet all scheduling commitments;
  • Cooking experience or Back of the House experience preferred;
  • Food handlers card;
  • Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal;
  • Hard working and reliable;
  • Ability to communicate and listen to team members;
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils;
  • Team player and takes Initiative;
  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
