Screens and identifies patients with nutritional risk using scoring guidelines and initiates referrals for dietetic assessment. Being a Nutrition Assistant requires an associate’s degree. Computes analysis of patients intake and calorie count results. In addition, Nutrition Assistant typically reports to a dietitian. Typically requires Dietetic Technician – Registered (DTR). Being a Nutrition Assistant gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Works under moderate supervision. Working as a Nutrition Assistant typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.

  • General cleaning and other duties as assigned;
  • Set up for special event dinners/guests and/or food service requisitions;
  • Assist residents and tenants menu selection and serving;
  • Food preparation;

Requirements:
