Pool Server Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Pool Server to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions;
- Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards;
- Other duties as assigned;
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage;
- Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods;
- Follow all policies and procedures;
- Responsible for personal hygiene, grooming, clean uniform, and professional appearance;
- Responsible for punctuality when reporting to work, and clocking in only after being in full uniform;
- To perform other duties as directed by your supervisor or Club manager;
- Seek out the supervisor letting them know that you are present;
- Assist in providing the pool amenities to guests;
- Serve food & beverage orders in a friendly, professional, and timely manner;
- Clear tables during service. Control guest checks and secure proper payment;
- Provide exceptional service;
- Full knowledge of F&B menus and offerings.
Requirements:
- Must have two years Food & Beverage experience;
- Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system;
- High school or equivalent education required;
- Punctuality and regular/reliable attendance;
- Basic knowledge of food presentation, preparation and handling;
- Must have a minimum of 6 months experience as a server in a comparable restaurant;
- Be able to communicate clearly and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.
