Our company is looking for a Short Order Cook to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service and address any issues that may arise;
  • Take food orders from customers and prepare them quickly and accurately;
  • Working closely with servers and kitchen/bar staff to coordinate orders;
  • Orders, receives and stores necessary food and supplies and maintains related records;
  • Observes safety standards and practices;
  • Keep inventory of produce and place orders with suppliers;
  • Provides fast, friendly, and accurate service;
  • Ensure inventory and ordering systems are followed appropriately;
  • Complies with the rules of Dining Services in regard to production and serving;
  • General food prep and serving;
  • Receive orders from bartenders and prepare them quickly and accurately;
  • Tun food to customers in the dining area waiting to eat or for their food to go;
  • Performs related duties as required or assigned within job classification;
  • Perform from scratch food preparation tasks as needed (soups, sauces etc.);
  • Prepare foods from orders sent to Kitchen Printer.

Requirements:

  • Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize;
  • Knowledge of all health and safety regulations pertaining to food;
  • Previous experience is a plus;
  • Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers;
  • Knowledge of all health and safety regulations pertaining to food, Servsafe preferred;

  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment;

  • Positive attitude is a must.
