Our company is looking for a Athletic Trainer PRN to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Makes sure patient rooms are kept clean and ready for use;
- Ability to suture or staples removal for a postoperative patients;
- Complete patient paperwork including FMLA, WC, and disability forms;
- Work triage when scheduled;
- Able to communicate with patients, employees, physicians and physician support staff;
- Liaison between patient, medical assistant, physician, physician assistant or physician office staff;
- Patient Education;
- Removes and applies casts, splints/Jone’s dressing and dressing changes;
- Obtaining prior authorization as needed for patient medications;
- Review next day clinic and work schedule. Notify scheduling ASAP for changes;
- Following all HIPPA regulations and guidelines;
- Aiding physician in procedures as needed;
- Stocking clinic rooms daily;
- Following all OSHA guidelines while handling blood or bodily fluids;
- Escorting patients from the waiting room the exam room, or X-ray waiting area.
