Our company is looking for a Caregiver CNA HHA to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in continued training as required annually;
  • Attain quarterly goals as established in the annual performance evaluation;
  • Maintain a clean, safe and healthy environment, which may include light cleaning and housekeeping;
  • Document and submit accurate records of personal health care activities;
  • Observe appearance and gross behavioral changes in the patient and reports to supervisor;
  • Use the client’s phone to clock in and out of a shift;
  • Recognize emergencies and have knowledge of emergency procedures;
  • Utilize safety measures in provision of care;
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient and agency matters and adheres to all agency policies;
  • Perform housekeeping duties such as cleaning, cooking, washing dishes, change bed linens, washing/ironing laundry, or running errands;
  • Accompany clients to doctors’ office or other trips outside the home;
  • Help client with dressing, grooming and bathing, medication reminders and using the toilet;
  • Personal care assistance (bathing, dressing & grooming);
  • Light housekeeping;
  • Records and reports changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance.

Requirements:

  • Must have ability to effectively communicate with patients and staff;
  • State of California HCA #
  • Dependable Transportation is necessary to apply;
  • TB/X-Ray results;
  • First-Aid;
  • Local and DCF Background screenings;
  • APD Direct Core Competency;
  • APD Zero Tolerance;
  • Dependable, responsible, nurturing and caring attitude;
  • Up-to-date car insurance in your name, registration and valid FL Driver’s License;
  • Access to reliable transportation with a willingness to travel throughout Ocala, Summerfield, Lady Lake and more;
  • 1 Year of hands-on caregiving experience;
  • Certified Nurse Assistant or Home Health Aide license;
  • Ability to commit to provided availability and ability to work weekends;
  • Up-to-date car insurance in your name, registration and valid Driver’s License.
