Our company is looking for a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete 12 hours of in-service training per year;
  • Grocery shopping/errands;
  • Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency;
  • Follow the care plan of our RN supervisor;
  • Prepare meals following patient nutritional requirements and preferences;
  • Provide companionship;
  • Accompany to appointments;
  • Monitor for safety;
  • Performs activity in a manner consistent with State regulations and with home health aide training;
  • Performs activities in a manner consistent with home health aide training and as outlined by the RN case manager;
  • Assists patients with personal care, transfers in and out of bed, ambulation, and with use of the bedpan;
  • Maintains a positive and professional image;
  • Assists with medications that are ordinarily self-administered;
  • Assists with prescribed exercises which patients and home health aides have been taught by appropriate health personnel;
  • Performs light housekeeping duties directly associated with patient care.

Requirements:

  • Professional appearance and positive attitude;
  • Must have legal work authorization for the United States;
  • Ability to perform all essential job functions;
  • Take pride in providing high quality care;
  • Must be in good health and satisfy our medical requirements;
  • Must have reliable transportation to get to assignments;
  • Must be NJ Certified Home Health Aide;
  • Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
