Our company is looking for a Certified Home Health Aide to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary;
  • Help clients take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation;
  • Follow the assignment sheet/service plan;
  • Attend in-services and office meetings as requested;
  • Utilize basic infection control measures;
  • Maintain a clean, safe and healthy client environment;
  • Complete other assignments as requested and assigned.�
  • Assist as assigned with ambulation, transfers and/or range of motion exercises;
  • Organize self to carry out visits/shifts and tasks;
  • Read and record client temperature, pulse, and respiration when assigned;
  • Providing proper care and observation of patient’s skin to prevent breakdown of tissue over bony prominence;
  • Back rubs;
  • Keeping the patient’s living area clean and orderly as appropriate;
  • Assisting patients with dressing and undressing;
  • Minimum 1-year experience as a Home Health Aide.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties;
  • Willingness to enforce health and safety standards;
  • Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills;
  • Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 6 months, preferred);
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation;
  • Take pride in providing high quality care;
  • Hoyer Lift Experience is a plus;
  • Must have a valid HHA certification and CNA license in the state of California;
  • Must have a valid HHA certification in the state of California;
  • Demonstrated competency in performance of Home Health Aide functions;
  • One year experience as a CNA, hospice aide or home health aide. (Home Health preferred);
  • Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing;
  • Must have completed a minimum of 120 hours of training which includes an introduction to personal care services;
  • Must be a licensed driver with an insured automobile in good working order;
