Our company is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Adheres to infection control/safety guidelines and confidentiality policies;
  • Knowledge of all confidentiality requirements regarding HIPAA and strict maintenance of proper confidentiality on all such information;
  • Prepare patient electronic medical records to ensure that all appropriate documentation is present for each patient visit;
  • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations;
  • Helping maintain a clean, courteous, and professional working environment;
  • Work alongside physicians to provide personalized primary care;
  • Assist in building medical policies and procedures;
  • Blood draws, vitals, immunizations & EKGs;
  • Provides side by side assistance to general and plastic surgeons during in office procedures;
  • Performing vitals and documenting in the EMR system;
  • Clean rooms and equipment after each examination and prepare for next patient following appropriate infection control techniques;
  • Prep exam rooms for providers and patients;
  • Greet patients in a courteous manner and explain clinic procedures.

Requirements:

  • Dermatology experience preferred;
  • Excellent telephone etiquette;
  • Washington State Department of Health Medical Assistant – Certified (CM) required;
  • Medical Assistant Interim (IC) credential will be considered;
  • Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program or equivalent experience;
  • Excellent Computer Skills;
  • Maintain a positive, caring attitude towards patients;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of examination, diagnostic and treatment room procedures;
  • Current BLS Certification;
  • Able to travel to other area clinic locations;
  • Administer medication to inmates/residents under the direct supervision of the Health Services Administrator;
  • Must exhibit passion for outstanding results and compassion for those we work with and serve;
  • An active CPR card;
  • Cooperates with medical and administrative staff to ensure compliance with standards and regulations;
  • Uses oral and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas in a clear, positive manner.
