Our company is looking for a CNA – Long Term Care to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect routine specimens;
  • Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises;
  • Assist with clients personal care activities;
  • Maintain patients care records and document provided services;
  • Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support;
  • Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) and report on their condition;
  • Obtaining a wide range of information from physicians, caregivers and nurses about patient condition, treatment plans, and suggested activities;
  • Turning and repositioning bedridden patients;
  • Ensuring patients or residents receive appropriate diet by reviewing their dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences.

Requirements:

  • One year of Long Term Care experience;
  • One year of Point Click Care experience;
  • Friendly and professional;
  • Current BLS (American Heart Association);
  • Adaptable, flexible and a hard worker;
  • Ability to think and work independently and with direction and communicate with staff members in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment;
  • State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification;
  • Effective oral and written communication skills;
  • Current Nurse Aide Certification from the State of Louisiana;
  • Multi-tasking skills;
  • High school diploma or GED preferred;
  • Comfortable using a computer;
  • Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant;
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support.
