Our company is looking for a CNA – Part Time to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations;
- Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect;
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner;
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach;
- Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds;
- Ability to present a professional appearance and demeanor;
- Ability to withstand exposure to dust, mold, mildew and cleaning solutions;
- Performs light housekeeping tasks and assists with laundry;
- Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards;
- Helps provide a clean, safe, and healthy environment by performing light housekeeping tasks and helping with laundry;
- Provides general attention to clients’ non-medical needs following an established Plan of Care;
- Prepare and serve meals as directed and ensures that dishes are washed and kitchen is clean after each meal;
- Observes and reports any changes in the client’s mental, physical, or emotional condition or home situation to immediate supervisor.
Requirements:
- Ability to present a professional appearance and demeanor;
- Ability to withstand exposure to dust, mold, mildew and cleaning solutions;
- Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds;
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach;
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner;
- Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect;
- Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations;
- CPR Certified;
- Certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in this state;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- High school diploma or GED required;
- Valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation and valid automobile insurance;
- In good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity;
- Experience in health care or long term care;
- Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift 50 pounds as needed.
