Our company is looking for a Director of Technical Services to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend CCB of the network to ensure we are meeting customer’s needs and send out any customer notification/maintenance;
  • Coach and develop others- actively;
  • Quality monitors employees and discusses the results;
  • Responsible for recruiting, hiring and firing for the department;
  • Attend meetings and trainings as required;
  • Foster open and cross-functional communication;
  • Act as a technical liaison or subject matter expert in matters of support to cross-functional departments;
  • Provide leadership through coaching, feedback, development goals, and performance management;
  • Gather and interpret customer requirements, draw appropriate conclusions, and suggest next steps to customers;
  • Maintains disaster recovery documentation of procedures and processes;
  • Responsible for server and storage systems to achieve optimal performance;
  • Source of educational opportunities on the given subject/topic – provides ongoing education to BT and the organization;
  • Experience with industry best practices, maturity models, and benchmark information;
  • Prepares and manages an annual budget for areas of responsibility;
  • Responsible for risk management and mitigation.

Requirements:

  • Professional demeanor on telephone, within Corporate and Distribution Center location contacts and with all external vendors and candidates;
  • Own all assigned tasks;
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and great follow-up and follow-through skills;
  • Accuracy in scheduling and maintaining calendars, tracking report information, calculating certain metrics;
  • Ability to communicate with, and work effectively through other people at all levels of the Company;
  • Unquestionable workplace ethics;
  • Computer skills, including software used in this office (Navision, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Smartsheet);
