Our company is looking for a Employee Health Nurse to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides first aid treatment for Job-related and non-job-related Workplace Injuries. May monitor and evaluate the patient as needed;
  • Ensures appropriate medical inventory levels by ordering and stocking supplies, medications and vaccines as necessary;
  • Prepares and maintains all related health service records in accordance with policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Is knowledgeable regarding departmental and Corporate processes and procedures and associated regulatory requirements;
  • Attention to detail, information accuracy and service excellence are critical;
  • The knowledge and skill set for assessment of occupational injuries including experience with exposures to BBP and communicable diseases;
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification;
  • Minimum one year of patient care experience;
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize both duties and events in importance;
  • Licensure to practice nursing in the State of Florida;
  • Provide accurate, consistent answers to Associate requests. Demonstrated sensitivity to circumstances and attitudes;
  • Diploma from an accredited Nursing School or BSN or successful completion of EMT-P course and Licensed to practice within the State of Florida;
  • Ability to maintain and administer confidential and sensitive information in an appropriate manner;
  • Appropriately evaluate, treat or triage Associates with illness/injuries;
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Occupational Health required;
  • COHN preferred, must obtain license to practice within the State of Florida;
  • Works collaboratively with the Human Resource Team. Supports and models the standards of behavior.
