Home Health Aide (CHHA) Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide light house-keeping and laundry;
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency;
- Complete 12 hours of in-service training per year;
- Grocery shopping/errands;
- Monitor for safety;
- Accompany to appointments;
- Provide companionship;
- Report changes in patient condition or behavior;
- Follow the care plan of our RN supervisor;
- Annual competency evaluation by our RN;
- Prepare meals following patient nutritional requirements and preferences.
Requirements:
- Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills;
- Must be NJ Certified Home Health Aide;
- Must be in good health and satisfy our medical requirements;
- Must have reliable transportation to get to assignments;
- Take pride in providing high quality care;
- Ability to perform all essential job functions;
- Professional appearance and positive attitude;
- Must have legal work authorization for the United States.
