Our company is looking for a Home Health Aide/CNA to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Light housekeeping;
  • Provides companionship for the client, such as talking and listening, reading aloud, and providing social and emotional support;
  • Records and reports changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance;
  • Companionship and socialization;
  • Help with personal care needs of clients;
  • Medication assistance;
  • Dressing;
  • Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc;
  • Transfers /use of mechanical lifting devices;
  • Grooming;
  • Performing duties as assigned on personal care service plan;
  • Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary;
  • Help clients with medication reminders and assist clients with ambulation;
  • Establishing and maintaining effective communication and a professional relationship with client’s, family members, and co-workers;
  • Reminds client to take self-administered medications.

Requirements:

  • Up-to-date car insurance in your name, registration and valid Driver’s License;
  • HHA or CNA certification (NOT REQUIRED for homemaking/companion);
  • Be prompt and dependable;
  • Able to go shopping and/or run errands;
  • Successful completion of a nursing assistant program;
  • Minimum one (1) year of documented health care experience is required;
  • Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray;
  • Take pride in providing high quality care;
  • Access to reliable transportation with a willingness to travel within the Chickasha area;
  • Automobile Insurance, and reliable vehicle;
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED required;
  • Willing to provide at least three professional references;
  • Must be willing to travel to clients homes;
  • Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 6 months to 1 year);
  • Access to reliable transportation with a willingness to travel within the Tulsa metro area.
