Intake Specialist Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Intake Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Follow-up on unsigned cases;
- Use Sales Force software to input case information and digitally send retainer documents;
- Screening/evaluating incoming calls for potential Workers Compensation/ Personal Injury cases;
- Work with attorneys and support staff to evaluate potential cases and provide an exceptional level of customer service;
- Speaking to potential clients to discern claim viability;
- Utilizing software to gather information and record data;
- Maintaining the high standards of professionalism and customer service expected by our clients;
- Recommending defined legal efforts based upon individual clients’ circumstances;
- Guiding clients through detailed intake questionnaire.
Requirements:
- Ability to adapt to change in a rapidly expanding dynamic organization;
- Maturity, teamwork, problem solving, learning, and consummate professionalism;
- Dependable and accountable;
- Passion for helping people;
- Bilingual (Russian-English) preferred;
- Knowledge of screening and eligibility requirements for Indiana public benefits preferred;
- Computer proficiency;
- Computer literacy and an ability to communicate effectively with clients, potential clients and staff;
- Excellent communication skills;
- BA in helping profession or 2 years of strongly related work experience preferred;
- Bilingual language skills is a plus;
- Associate Degree and/or related experience required;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience in social sciences, public administration, or related field with customer contact required.
