Our company is looking for a Lead Ophthalmic Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ophthalmic certification plus five (5) years of ophthalmic technician experience;
- Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent.
Requirements:
- Candidate must be able to document a complete ocular and medical history;
- OCT;
- Fundus photography;
- COT (Certified Ophthalmic Technician) or COA (Certified Ophthalmic Assistant) certification is not mandatory but preferred;
- Patient education;
- Taking measurements for cataract surgery;
- Pachymetry;
- Optical coherence topography and specular microscopy;
- IOL master;
- Prepping patients for laser procedures;
- Manual/Auto Refractions;
- Visual fields.
