Our company is looking for a Licensed Dental Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations;
- Record patient charting and all doctor notes in the digital patient chart;
- Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance;
- Prepare tray setups for regular appointments, IB appointments / maintain adequate supply levels;
- Other tasks as needed;
- Obtain current dental histories and/or takes full records including intra-oral pictures, panos, cephs, and 3-D scans;
- Educate patients on orthodontic care;
- Assist in placing/removing orthodontic appliances; take full records including panos, cephs, and 3-D scans;
- Prepare tray setups for regular appointments and maintain adequate supply levels;
- Obtain current dental history and/or records from patient;
- Take impressions for retainer creation;
- Place, replace, and remove as needed: archwires, brackets, power chains, O-ties, Invisalign attachments, and orthodontic appliances;
- Empower and educate patients on maintaining great orthodontic care;
- Perform initial bonds on patients;
- Celebrate the patient’s journey throughout treatment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- All levels of experience considered; will train certified candidates;
- No travel required for this position;
- Current Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) certificate;
- Current Registered Dental Assistant certificate.
