Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) STAFFING Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) STAFFING to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Personal care and supervision of CNA and STNA;
- Schedule: 8hr/12hr shifts available;
- Records all pertinent care and observations in patient record as directed by facility;
- Other duties as requested by supervisor;
- Must have facility experience;
- Oversee the emergency preparedness plan;
- Oversee Certified Nurse Aides charting/documentation;
- Supervising Certified Nurse Aides;
- Any additional request by supervisor within scope of position;
- Be able to count medications.
Requirements:
- Current CPR, TB, Physical;
- Clean Background Check and Clean Drug Screen;
- LPN License;
- Must have access to reliable transportation;
- Nurturing and compassionate nature with the desire to care for others;
- Must be able to provide three references (2 professional and 1 personal);
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions;
- Must be 18 years of age or older;
- Must be able to pass all pre-screening requirements;
- Familiar with and comfortable using a cell phone;
- Reliable, energetic, self-motivated and well-organized;
- Ability to work with limited supervision;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- High school diploma or GED, and one year of in-home care services experience;
- Reliable transportation which includes any form of public transportation such as a bus or train.
