Our company is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Applies and changes dressings;
  • Providing reassurance and encouragement to mentally ill patients;
  • Phlebotomy and collection of other lab specimens; performs waived lab tests;
  • Talk to the patients about their present problems, allergies, medications and keep an eye on their medical records;
  • Performs initial triage assessment/data collection to identify care needs of the patient;
  • Organizes/ prioritizes routine and non-routine nursing care activities;
  • Assist client with ADLs (including Hoyer transfers and bowel program);
  • Maintain a clean and healthy environment;
  • Notifies family on condition changes etc;
  • Carries out designated nursing procedures;
  • Communicates and reports change in resident/patient’s condition to the physician;
  • Makes appropriate changes to the resident plan of care based on observation and data collection and documents those changes on the medical record;

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with hospital health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures;
  • License in good standing in the state of West Virginia;
  • Active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Washington State;
  • Must have reliable transportation;
  • At least 1 Year of Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care experience;
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities preferred;
  • Ability to work wit adult and geriatric populations as demonstrated through educational accomplishment or work experience;
  • IM Injections;
  • 2 years experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility;
  • Valid Florida LPN license and AHA BLS/CPR certification;
  • Able to lift 50 pounds, bend, stretch and reach, walk up and down steps, and be able to push or pull 75 pounds a minimum of 5 times per shift;
  • PICCs;
  • Must have Georgia license;
  • Provides nursing care to the residents and supervise the day to day nursing activities performed by the CNAs;
