Our company is looking for a Med/Surg Registered Nurse to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates and helps to promote a positive working environment;
  • Ensures that all physician orders for patients under their care are noted and correctly transcribed;
  • Participates in Quality Improvement activities;
  • Demonstrates an on-going knowledge of hospital and unit performance improvement processes and participates in the process;
  • Independently assesses and evaluates patient needs;
  • Provide patient care in the adult medical and surgical service areas;
  • Work 13 week assignments at different hospitals throughout the United States;
  • Pass a nicotine and full urine test on the first day;
  • Provide quality care for patients of all ages with a wide range of acute and/or chronic illnesses;
  • Provide quality healthcare to northeast Nevada residents;
  • Meet top notch technology and innovative care teams bring the best of to patients;
  • Provide care for patients before and after surgical procedures;
  • Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care;
  • Staff at a 1:4 AVERAGE nurse to patient ratio;
  • Basic life support training should be completed in 90 days with advanced training required at certain intervals.

Requirements:

  • An Associate Degree from an accredited school of Nursing;
  • FL RN license and/or approved multistate license;
  • Previous experience in acute care preferred;
  • Provides health care teaching to patient/family or significant other with documentation;
  • Utilizes all equipment in the unit appropriate to patient with maximum efficiency and effectiveness based on knowledge and education;
  • Current BLS Certification;
  • ACLS certification and PALS within 6 months of hire or first available course;
  • BLS certification required;
  • Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse (RN) required;
  • Basic life support training should be completed in 90 days with advanced training required at certain intervals;
  • Requires an associate’s degree and is certified as a registered nurse;
  • Current New Mexico or multi-state Registered Nurse license;
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field;
  • Active licensure as an RN in the state of New Hampshire;
  • Demonstrated excellent technical, interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills required.
