Our company is looking for a Medical Asst Cert to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Screens telephone calls for referral to Provider, nurse, or referral specialist as indicated;
- Prepares exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments;
- Performs selected clinical and administrative duties to support Provider and office operations;
- Performs other related duties as assigned;
- Prepares patients for examination and treatment;
- Assists Provider in preparing for minor surgeries or physicals;
- Maintains quality control standards (HIPAA/OSHA).
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED;
- Current BLS Certification;
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant;
- Working knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9 and CPT coding;
- Previous experience working in clinic or office setting preferred;
- Graduate from accredited medical assistant program.
