Our company is looking for a Medical Intake Coordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing authorizations/notifications and other service requests received via incoming high volume phone calls, faxes and portal submission;
  • Determining authorization or notification requirements;
  • Complete a pending delivery confirmation and demo graphic list (HHC/DME);
  • Prep services for billing;
  • Telephonic Interpretation and recorded Statement to apply for operations;
  • Requesting authorization from customers to provide services;
  • Providing excellent customer service, including the ability to handle escalated callers;
  • Preparing authorization cases for Medical Directors, UM Nurses and Case Managers;
  • The Candidate is expected to receives referrals by phone and email;
  • Handling expedited authorizations, authorization updates and status checks.

Requirements:

  • Customer service skills;
  • Use software such as Excel and Outlook;
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
  • Phone etiquette.
