MRI Technologist PRN Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a MRI Technologist PRN to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines;
- Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately to produce cross-sectional images of the body;
- Ensures equipment is properly functioning. Reports potential problems or equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel;
- Performs patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to the examination;
- Ensures prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).
Requirements:

- Current ARRT certification with advanced MRI registry, or registry eligible with advanced certification obtained within 1 year;
- Specialty/Department/Practice âx80x93 Radiology;

- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology;
- BLS certification;
- ARRT compliance with CEU requirements;
- 1 year post graduate experience preferred;
- Shift/Schedule âx80x93 PRN;
